Lawrence started with SJP later in life in 2018. He was chosen by an experienced and dynamic adviser to become his protégé in a new SJP Financial Planning Practice. Having previously been a Professional Triathlete, Lawrence was selected for his hard work ethic and strive for excellence in all areas.
Trained as a Financial Planner, Lawrence worked in all areas of the business, including as Admin, Assistant Planner and Paraplanner. This provided him with great all-round experience which included client meeting and servicing experience, as well as good technical knowledge in all areas of financial planning. Knowledge he now uses to improve himself as a Paraplanner.
Upon becoming Level 4 Diploma qualified, Lawrence chose to remain a Paraplanner, as he noticed he not only enjoyed technical analysis, but it also became his strength. His experience has given him excellent technical knowledge in almost all areas of Financial Planning and especially the SJP offering. Lawrence particularly enjoys complex cases and the challenge of bringing many different parts of clients’ circumstances together; especially when more obscure areas of financial planning are involved.
In his own time, Lawrence is also a Triathlon Coach but also very active himself and enjoys hiking, running, swimming, football and golf. He is a proud family man and a self-confessed food snob, with a real love for cooking (and eating) fine food. His biggest passion is for travel, having been born in Jordan and flown the flag for the country in his previous career.
